I have an HP laptop that I have had for about 3 yrs. I have reformated it before and it worked with no problems. Well I have tried to do this again and the farthest it has gotten is to the 2nd disk and then the computer just shuts off. When i restart it, I have to re insert the first disk and start over. I have tried many times and sometimes it wont even get through the first recovery disk and it just shuts off. Sounds like when the fans kick in, it does this? Could one of the fans be out? Does anyone know what is wrong. I need major help!!!!!! thanks
