During the last week a friend thought that he lost the password for his computer. Below are the instructions for putting a password recovery on a 3.5" floppy.

Open User Accounts in Control Panel.
Click your account name.
Under Related Tasks located on the left side of the window, click Prevent a forgotten password.
In the Forgotten Password Wizard, follow the instructions as they appear on the screen.

SP2 for Windows XP is complete. I saw the roll out plan this morning. It is going to be over the next 90 days.


Because it is such a massive service pack, Microsoft is being smart by having it well tested, and released slowly.
